UK Gift & Special Sales Manager (Maternity Cover)

Pavilion Books is an award-winning illustrated book publisher based in central London. We are looking for an experienced sales professional to provide maternity cover for an initial period of 12 months to maintain our high profile and strong sales in the UK gift and special sales markets.

This role includes the close management of our key relationship with our publishing partner The National Trust and will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing relationships with all our national non-trade accounts, ensuring that ambitious sales targets are met and exceeded.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience of sales management in this sector and have a detailed and current knowledge of the UK non-trade marketplace. He or she will be a highly motivated and target driven sales professional with excellent communication skills and strong organizational abilities.

Territory Manager – Scotland & Northern England (part-time)

Pavilion Books is looking for a territory manager to join its successful and expanding heritage sales team. The team sells Pitkin and Pavilion books, alongside other client publishers, into the gift and heritage sector which includes cathedrals, country houses, museums, galleries and other tourist sites and visitor attractions. Based in Northern England or Scotland, this person would ideally have at least 2 years’ experience of book sales, preferably relevant to the heritage market.

This position is part-time (3 days per week) and will manage existing accounts throughout the territory, growing the sales and the visibility of our lists in this market and searching out new retail customers in the culture and heritage sector.
