Author of <em>Cool Nature, </em>also in the Cool series, she has also authored, co-authored and ghostwritten several dozen other books on natural history, and contributes regularly to <em>BBC Wildlife</em> magazine and the <em>Yorkshire Post</em>. She lives in North Yorkshire.</p>
