Brian Laban

Brian Laban has been motoring for twenty-five years and a fan of the Mini even longer than that.. He passed his driving test in one, and in the 1960s, ‘70s, ‘80s and ‘90s lived with several, exotic and plain. He has written on cars for virtually every major British motoring magazine, several foreign ones and many newspapers. In 1991 he won the Guild of Motoring Writers’ Pierre Dreyfus Award for the most outstanding journalistic effort of the year. He wrote for ‘Performance Car’ magazine and is a regular contributor to the ‘Daily Telegraph’, ‘Auto Express’, and ‘Sunday Business’ among others. He has written twenty motoring books.
