Richard Wood

Richard Wood’s signature style and cutting-edge cocktails combine to make him one of the world’s most exciting bartenders. As Global Head of Spirit and Cocktail Development for Samba Brands Management, Richard overseas the development of ever-changing drinks programs across the globe, including Sushi Samba in New York, Miami Beach and Las Vegas and Duck and Waffle in London. In 2014 he was crowned the UK and Ireland’s ‘Most Imaginative Bartender’ in a competition run by Bombay Sapphire, going on to come second in the world finals of the competition. Known for his culinary and experimental approach to cocktails, Richard  is at the forefront of cocktail development and a key figure in bridging the gap between the worlds of food and drink.
