Nicki also designs wedding cakes for magazines such as Cosmopolitan Bride, You & Your Wedding and Brides. She is a designer and expert on domestic hand crafts and also runs craft workshops and home arts retreats from her home in East Sussex, England.

Pauline Turner

Pauline Turner is a recognised international authority on crochet often referred to as ‘the walking Crochet encyclopaedia’. She is the founder and instigator of the International Diploma in Crochet course, a prolific author and designer and owner of the business Crochet Design which is the first of its kind. She has authored several books including How to Crochet (1-85585-827-4) and Crochet Lace (1-56477-576-3).

Nina Tolstrup

Nina Tolstrup studied at Les Ateliers in Paris and Copenhagen Business school and is now an East London-based designer who designs products, furniture, interiors and accessories for companies including Habitat, Lexon, Trip Trap, E&Y and Wentworth. Previously a design manager for Eleven Danes, she now runs her design company Studiomama, which has won prizes and been widely publicised in the international press.

Lucy Tobin

Lucy Tobin is a freelance writer with Evening Standard. She has had articles published in numerous national newspapers, including The Independent, The Daily Mail, The Daily Express, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Times and The Sunday Times. This is her first book.

Geoff Tibballs

Becky Thorn

Becky Thorn is a primary school teacher with a long-suffering husband and two children (on whom she tries out her recipes). She has appeared on ‘Masterchef’ as a guest amateur restaurant critic, and recently designed a meal for the Heinz Weightwatchers range. Doug Taylor

<p>Born and educated in Toronto, Doug Taylor is a local historian and former member of the faculty of Lakeshore Teachers’ College (York University). He is the author of several books and an ongoing blog (Historic Toronto) that explore the city’s past and document its architectural heritage.
