Free Tom Daley knitting pattern

While Tom Daley is knitting and diving, you can knit Tom Daley diving with this free knitting pattern.

Olympic gold-medalist Tom Daley has not only made the headlines for his immaculate diving techniques lately, but is also making a splash for knitting in between dives. And as his Olympic Cardigan proves, he is very talented with yarn and a pair of needles.

With this free knitting pattern, you can knit Tom Daley as you’re cheering him on in the 10m diving semi-finals (and hopefully finals) tomorrow.

Designed by Carol Meldrum, this pattern features in the book Knitlympics, where you’ll find knitting patterns for 20 Olympic icons, from ancient Greece to modern day. Including lighting-fast Usain Bolt, mustachioed Mark Spitz and sparrow-like Olga Korbut. There are also patterns for Olympic medals, a podium and of course a ticket.
